Happy Easter

Easter this year was wonderful. We started out with a little egg hunt. Matty was excited. We have been teaching him about why we celebrate Easter. And he understands the reason. Whenever I ask him why we celebrate Easter, he says, "Because Jesus died then he come back to life again" We just got a little fish tank with four gold fish in it and when Sean explained to Matt that fish can't breathe out of water so we need to be careful with fish when we take them out, Matt said, "Don't worry, daddy, the fish will be resurrected" It's so cute.

Our New House

The exterior of our place! The yard needs to be fixed a little, though. But it's actually looking better than it did when we moved in!
TV Room we call it.
Living room/dining room. We just got the couch set and also picked up the two chairs for $30 at a garage sale in the neighborhood. Love a good deal!
Getting ready for Aaron's birthday partay!
From the stairs
Matt's bunk beds. Soon Aaron will be joining.
The boys' bathroom.
Bonus room upstairs... Sean wants a projector.

Finally Moved into the New House

We are finally settled in our new house in Lincoln. Things were a little crazy for a few weeks but I am so glad everything is all good now. Our house was supposed to close officially on the day we moved but of course, our lender and escrow company had to screw everything up so the closing date got pushed back further and further. Luckily we were still able to move in before the house officially closed because we signed all the documents as we were moving (that was the craziest day of my life). We had to sign a renter's document. Basically we rented the new house until the escrow officially closed. They gave us five days to close and after that date we were supposed to pay $120/day for rent. We closed on Thursday, the day after we were supposed to close... Ahhh. It was a nightmare but our real estate agent was super nice and he paid the rent for us. He really is the best real estate agent ever! We were so blessed to have him as our agent. He also gave us a $200 giftcard for Home Depot. I am just so glad everything worked out in the end. I feel as though the Lord is really watching over our family. I am so grateful. I took some pictures of the kids at the new place just after we moved in. I like to unpack and I have a weird personality that doesn't allow me to rest until everything is done, it only took us about 4 days to get everything unpacked. Now I can relax!!

Happy Birthday, Matt!

It was Matt's birthday on Tuesday. Sean stayed home and we celebrated his birthday all together as a family. We got him a bike he wanted and he has been riding it everyday. He is getting pretty good at it! :) We made him cupcakes with oreo frosting on top. He loved it! At night, we went to King's game. At first, Matty didn't like the noise, but he got used to it and loved it. Kings won! We got to see Jimmer play. He's much smaller than I thought! He was pretty good! We all had so much fun! Happy Birthday, Matt. I can't believe you're already four years old! Time just flies by. I love you, kiddo! :)

Happy Valentine's!

For Valentine's day this year, I spoiled my boys with goodies that they like. I mostly got candies and chocolate snacks for them and very expensive cards! :) They seemed to like all the little presents I got for them. We had a fantastic Valentine's dinner - with grilled seafood and sides. They were all very yummy! :)
