Happy Birthday Aaron

 It was Aaron's 1st birthday on Saturday! We threw him a birthday party, of course. We invited a few close family and friends. I made some Korean food and it was a hit. It was fun having everyone at the new house. Aaron was a little shy at first. I think he was overwhelmed by so many people around him all at once but as time went by, he got more and more used to the crowd. He definitely loved the cake, which I was happy about. Matt never touched his cake and cried as everyone sang "happy birthday" to him. He was a little OCD as a baby (still kinda is, sometimes) so he didn't wanna be dirty but Aaron... got dirty. Messy. Filthy, even! ha ha I was happy to see him messy. And right after that, he had a bath. Happy birthday, Aaron. Mommy loves you.

Jinu Gets Hurt

지난 금요일은 정말로 너무 안좋았다... 아이들이랑 함께 한시간정도 걷고 놀이터에 가서 즐겁게 놀고... 진우가 잠들어서 침대에 올려놓고 컴퓨터에 앉았는데.. 갑자기 뒤에서 "붕!" 하는 소리가 나서 돌아봤더니... 진우가 바닥에... ㅠㅠ 울기를 그치지 않아서 이상하다 했는데... 기기 시작하면 울고 겨드랑이 밑으로 손을 넣어 들으면 울길래 뭔가 이상이 있다 해서 병원에 데리고 갔더니... 아니나 다를까.. 어깨 Clavicle 뼈가 골절... 정말 너무 미안하고 내 잘못인것 같아 죄책감에 울고 또 울었다... 진우는 아기라고 뼈가 금방 회복된다고 한다.. 아마도 일주일 정도... 휴~ 다행이다... 절대로 침대에 놔두면 안되겠다... 잠 자더라도. 진우는 준이와 180도 다르다. 준이는 이런거 걱정 한번도 안했는데... 어쩜 이렇게 같은 뱃속에서 나왔는데도 다를까? 그래도 둘다 너무 사랑스럽고.. 열손가락 깨물어 안아픈 손가락 없다는 말... 이해가 간다. 우리 진우가 빨리 회복이 되어 기어다니고 활발하게 되면 정말 좋겠다... 일주일이여~ 빨리 가주세용~

Too Fast!

 When we took Aaron to his 9 month check up, his doctor said he is iron deficient and that he needs to eat better. Since I'm a paranoid mom, I got some snacks with lots of iron in them and started feeding Aaron more solid food. I've been trying to take vitamins more regularly (although I still forget about them every once in a while - like last night, ugh!!). Aaron's a pretty good eater although there are certain things he just won't eat. But for the most part, he's been a very good eater. I weighed him this morning and the scale said he's gained about 0.5 pounds in the last week. That's a good sign. He's also trying to stand up - right now, he's standing up holding onto something but I just know that he's going to walk before he turns one. It's crazy how different Matty and Aaron are. :) 

 Matty is also growing so fast! I have noticed that he's grown taller. His pants are getting shorter and shorter. Ahh... it's great that they are growing but maybe a little too fast? :)

Matty's little tattoos

 Big Matty man got a haircut and got two little sticker tattoos from his hair stylist... (ha ha his hair stylist...) He was so eager to try it out. So cute. And Aaron is into everything now. He's opening drawers and digging into everything he can. :)

Fun in Matt's Room

 Last night, while Sean and I were cleaning up a little, the kids went to Matt's room and took out a lot of their toys and played together. I love that my boys are playing together and they are content without being held or getting constant attention from me. It makes my life a little easier. :)
