Matt the Baker

Matt wanted to bake something today.. and he begged and begged that we baked something with chocolate in it. So I thought about making some cookies but then I realized that I was kind of sick of cookies.. so we made some pumpkin chocolate chip muffins instead. Matt was so excited to help. 

First, prepare muffin paper tins.

Then place them in a muffin pan.

Then put the muffin batter into the tins. (This part, I was reluctant to let him do it.. I mean, he's only three years old. Maybe when he's four.)

And the muffins were delicious!!

Donuts and things...

Donuts... Homemade donuts... I know. Yum. I made these donuts for my visiting teachee and sister missionaries. And yes. For us, too, of course. I've made donuts before but these were better. The dough shaped well and it tasted good, too. 

After writing a little note for my visiting sister, Sean and I goofed around a bit with Aaron. We wanted Matt to come and play with us but he was in the other room playing with blocks. He did build a nice tower, though.
